Spotify Meet & Greet Event – Influencers & Media

In August 2022, Spotify hosted a dinner event in Ghana to connect with selected influencers and media. The goal was to provide a memorable experience, gather insights about Spotify awareness, and create opportunities for engagement and earned media.
The Challenge
- Guest Experience: Design an event that provided a meaningful and engaging interaction with influencers and media.
- Brand Awareness: Leverage the event to strengthen Spotify’s presence and messaging in Ghana.
- Earned Media: Encourage attendees to share their experience organically across social channels.
The challenge was to craft an intimate yet impactful experience that promoted brand interaction while generating social buzz.
The Solution
Niyilor executed a full event management strategy:
- Photo Experience: Created engaging spaces for memorable moments and social sharing.
- Venue Branding: Branded the dining area to reflect Spotify’s identity.
- Audio & Event Logistics: Managed all technical and logistical requirements, including sound and seating.
- Guest Refreshments & Merchandise: Provided dinner and curated goodie bags for attendees.
The Results
The event successfully exceeded expectations and generated organic social reach:
- Attendance: 38 guests (target was 30) ✅
- Earned Media: Influencers and media posted about the experience on their social platforms, tagging Spotify ✅
The campaign strengthened Spotify’s presence in Ghana, provided meaningful interactions, and generated authentic social media visibility.

In October 2022, Niyilor partnered with Ghana Green Building Summit (GGBS) alongside IFC Edge, Goldkey, SECO, and the UK Government to execute the 5th anniversary Summit and Gala Dinner Awards Night. The event celebrated sustainable building practices and honored industry leaders in green development.
